What I want to get out of this course and why I chose it

What I want to get out of this course is being able to get better at script writing, along with making better stories and learning the different kinds of cinematography, so that if I ever make a short film, the shots won't always look the same. I also want to be able to learn the different special effects you can use, like using fake blood to make a certain scene, so it looks realistic and using digital effects, so when it comes to changing  scene, you would have something to put in between the two scenes so they change fluidly. 

I have chosen this course because i would like to do something like this when im older, for a job, so making short or big films, maybe making music videos and possibly doing some acting for those films.
